There will be guides and tutorials through out the day for those just learning or needing a refresher on how to croch et or knit! Items created will be donated to local families and newborns i n need. For those looking for short projects\, scarfs and fingerless glove s are a great option and will be donated to the local trustees office. Nee d more time to finish the project? Drop off finished projects by January 1 1\, 2026 at the Noblesville Branch.

Bringing your own yarn? Rememb er that newborns have sensitive skin. The yarn needs to be smoke-free and fur-free. It also needs to be soft\, not scratchy\, and machine washable ( so no wool). Yarn weight can vary as long as the patterns used are not loo se or lacy. Some common yarn brands that make special yarns for babies inc lude Bernat\, Lion Brand\, Baby Cuddles\, and Caron!
