 imble-Ray's Bio:</strong></p>\n<p>Adrianna Kimble-Ray is a black multidisc
 iplinary artist. Originally from Jacksonville\, AR she is now based in Lit
 tle Rock. During her time in undergrad\, she became fascinated with utiliz
 ing lively and vibrant color palettes in her work. She also became extreme
 ly interested in transforming static illustrations into dynamic animation.
  Creating duplications and making artwork that has multiple pieces and com
 ponents to it has become a central theme in her artwork. In her free time 
 she reads art books and is always trying to learn more about color and how
  it can be utilized in art. Her artist alias as AstrosAdri and her work ca

 t's Statement:&nbsp\;</strong></p>\n<p>Connected through Color: Parts of a
  whole is a body of work that examines two concepts at the same time: how 
 color can be utilized in different art mediums and how compositions can ta
 ke on different appearances when they are placed along side other pieces i
 n a series with iterations and variations.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Connected throug
 h color examines color and reapplies it through different art mediums such
  as animation\, digital illustration\, and collage. Connected through colo
 r functions as an experimental project for Kimble-Ray and is her first sol
 o exhibition. A recurring theme in her work is the concept of using techno
 logy to create artwork. She does this by using the digital software Adobe 
 Illustrator for animations and digital illustration and using a Cricut cut
