 hich we live.&nbsp\; Greater Geelong has a very rich history that extends 
 beyond its establishment in the early 1800s\, but the world is undergoing 
 profound change\, and our region is rapidly expanding.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>What
  will this mean for our existing structures?</li>\n<li>Are there lessons f
 rom the past for a sustainable future?</li>\n<li>What new heritage are we 
 creating?</li>\n<li>Should we infuse new life into old visions?</li>\n<li>
 Will heritage bodies be able to embrace the range of community expectation
 s about our built environment?</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Gather for respectful explo
 ration of these questions\, and more\, in conversations moderated by<stron
 g> Padraic Fisher\,</strong> Director\, National Wool Museum and a member 
 of the Collections and Programs Committee of the National Trust of Austral
 ia\, Victoria.</p>\n<p><strong>Benjamin Petkov</strong>&nbsp\;-<em>&nbsp\;
 Identifying and Protecting Geelong&rsquo\;s Post-War Heritage</em></p>\n<p
 >Benjamin is a Heritage Project Officer with the City of Greater Geelong H
 eritage Places team\, and has been with the City for just over a year. In 
 that time\, he has completed a substantial number of heritage assessments 
 for new inclusions on the City of Greater Geelong Heritage Overlay\, and h
 as commenced working on the City Centre Heritage Review. A major focus of 
 his career to date\, comprising six years as a consultant\, was spent iden
 tifying and assessing places of interwar and post-war cultural heritage si
 gnificance\, with the most significant examples included in the Stonningto
 n Heritage Review in 2022 and 2023.</p>\n<p><strong>Cameron Hamilton</stro
 ng> - <em>Reimagining the Heritage of Geelong.</em></p>\n<p>Cameron is the
  Managing Director of Hamilton Group\, an award-winning property developme
 nt firm specialising in revitalising redundant industrial and commercial b
 uildings in Geelong and surrounds. With over 30 years of hands-on experien
 ce\, Cameron is known for transforming iconic properties such as the Pivot
  City Innovation Precinct which includes Federal Mills\, the Glasshouse\, 
 and currently\, the Regent Theatre and Bright &amp\; Hitchcock&rsquo\;s in
  Geelong&rsquo\;s CBD.</p>\n<p><strong>Lyndsay Sharp</strong>&nbsp\;<em>&n
 dash\; The Heritage Within : an eternal evolution&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbs
 p\;</em>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Lyndsay was raised in 
 Geelong and has fond memories of her life as part of the family which owne
 d and operated Godfrey Hirst.&nbsp\; As Co-owner and Director of The Sharp
  Group\, Lyndsay heads up all things marketing\, sales and hospitality acr
 oss five of the most dynamic &lsquo\;products&rsquo\; on The Bellarine inc
 luding Jack Rabbit Vineyard\, Flying Brick Cider Co\, Leura Park Estate\, 
 Curlewis Golf Club and The Range @ Curlewis.&nbsp\; With more than 35 year
 s&rsquo\; experience in marketing\, public relations and tourism\, Lyndsay
  is also Vice President of the Geelong Cats where the innovative Geelong S
 ports Museum is located.</p>\n<p><strong>Melinda Kennedy</strong> - <em>Bu
 ilt Environment Cultural Scapes</em></p>\n<p>Melinda&rsquo\;s current Mast
 ers is in Indigenous knowledge systems in the Australian tertiary-built En
 vironment\, she holds a Master of Architecture\, Graduate Diploma Natural 
 Cultural Resource Management\, from&nbsp\;Deakin University.&nbsp\;Her rol
 es include Heritage Advisor and University Deputy Chair\,&nbsp\;sitting on
  numerous Ministerial Advisory roles. Melinda is consultant of BAARIN: GAT
 TA.</p>\n<p><strong>Tuba Kocaturk</strong> - <em>The Future of the Past: A
 daptive Thinking in Heritage and Design.</em></p>\n<p>Professor Tuba is th
 e Head of Circular Cities Program\, and Deputy Head of School of Architect
 ure and the Built Environment\, at Deakin University. She is an architect\
 , educator\, and a research leader in the field of technology mediated des
 ign &amp\; innovation and Circular Economy applications in the Built Envir
 onment.</p>\n<p><img src="https://static.libnet.info/frontend-images/edito
