 quo\;&nbsp\;Hunter&nbsp\;is a storyteller\, teaching artist\, and communit
 y organizer from Atlanta. He&rsquo\;s also the winner of several indie boo
 k awards for multicultural fiction. He&rsquo\;s the author of<em>&nbsp\;To
 rment: A Novella</em>&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;<em>Something Like Right</em>\, whic
 h won the 2025 BCALA Children and Youth Literary award. His book\,&nbsp\;<
 em>Futureland: Battle for the Park</em>\, has been recognized by several s
 tate reading lists and book awards\, including in Florida\, Virginia\, Haw
 aii\, and his home state of Georgia.&nbsp\;<em>Futureland: The Nightmare H
 our</em>&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;<em>Futureland: The Architect Games</em>&nbsp\;ar
 e the second and third books in the series. Hugh is committed to stories a
 bout Black kids and their many expansive worlds. He loves vegan snacks\, b
 asketball\, and stories that make you cry&mdash\;but make you smile afterw
