 e</em>\, based on the classic story! Students will build the play through 
 creative drama\, consisting of dialogue\, creating characters\, and moveme
 nt. They will also learn the basics of creating a set by painting their ve
 ry own backdrop to enhance the story! An experienced early elementary educ
 ation Teaching Artist will help the students transform the book into a sho
 w complete with costumes and props. Finally\, students will perform the pl
 ay and show all they have learned.</p>\n<p>This program is intended for ch
 ildren in grades three to five\, between the ages of eight and eleven. Reg
 istration is&nbsp\;<strong>required&nbsp\;</strong>for this program\, and 
 will open September 4. As part of County Government\, MCPL does not collec
 t personal information other than for the purpose of providing programs or

 pants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an
  MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults a
 ttending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.<
