 mance and part interactive workshop\, Reclaiming Our Roots examines how pe
 ople have used dance to challenge\, overcome and change their circumstance
 s in an unjust world.</p>\n<p>The show takes its audience from the shores 
 of West African ring shout dances to the plantation dances of Hambone\, Ju
 ba\, and Cakewalk\, then up north to Jazz dance\, Disco and Breaking\, and
  finally to the West Coast&nbsp\;for Hip Hop. The viewers are encouraged t
 o become participants throughout the performance\, and find their own rhyt
