 lm</a> follows the grassroots campaign that helped preserve this defunct g
 olf course as a public park.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><br />&ldquo\;Bird Walk&rdquo\
 ; premiered to a full house at Brookside Gardens in May 2024. Its D.C. pre
 miere was at Busboys and Poets in June\, which was sponsored by DC Bird Al
 liance\, Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens\, DC Ecowomen\, and the Env
 ironmental Film Festival in the Nation&rsquo\;s Capital. &nbsp\;Montgomery
  Parks hosted a screening of &ldquo\;Bird Walk&rdquo\; in October 2024 in 
 conjunction with Birdability Week.&nbsp\; In November 2024\, the documenta
 ry had its European premiere at the Films for Future Festival\, an environ
 mental film festival in Zurich\, Switzerland. &ldquo\;Bird Walk&rdquo\; ha
 d its Colorado premiere at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival in Feb
 ruary 2025.</p>\n<p>Cintia will be joined by Wayne Breslyn\, founder of Fr
 iends of RedGate Park\, who will talk about the organization&rsquo\;s envi
 ronmental initiatives and its outreach efforts to increase park visitation
  and stewardship.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>About RedGate Park</strong></p>
 \n<p>The Chesapeake Bay Trust has awarded the City of Rockville an Urban T
 rees Award Program grant to plant more than 1\,000 trees and 500 shrubs in
  <a href="https://redgatepark.org/">RedGate Park</a> to reforest the 131-a
 cre site. The City of Rockville has developed a master plan for the site:&

 ia Cabib is an independent producer\, videographer and editor. Her documen
 taries have aired on public television stations nationwide and have been s
 creened at numerous venues throughout the U.S. and abroad.&nbsp\; Cintia&r
 squo\;s films shine a spotlight on local people\, places\, and history. He
 r documentaries include "Kindred Spirits\," a portrait of two accomplished
  but unsung Black women artists\; "Labyrinth Journeys\," an exploration of
  an ancient symbol and structure and its significance to the people who us
 e it as a tool for meditation and rehabilitation\; and "A Community of Gar
 deners\," a tour of seven Washington\, D.C. community gardens and the dive
 rse group of individuals who tend their plots.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Ac
