X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>"Every street art piece is unique and belo
ngs to the street and its&nbsp\;residents\, the temporary fact about this
artform strengthens its existence." ~ Leon Keer</p>\n<p>Street art origins
rest on the foundations of underground movements but have evolved with ti
me into a highly respected art form. Street art\, by design\, is big and e
ye catching and meant to both beautify and spark community dialogue.</p>\n
<p>Join us for a conversation with Leon Keer\, a world leading artist in a
namorphic street art\, and KUAF's Matthew Moore\, to explore Keer's newest
mural project with the City of Fayetteville that will be located at the F
ayetteville Public Library's West Avenue Parking Deck. The mural will brin
g Keer&rsquo\;s signature whimsy to Fayetteville\, featuring playful toy c
ars rendered in 3D style to activate childhood nostalgia and spark new per
spectives. Designed to be interactive and photo-friendly\, the piece will
invite viewers to engage with the artwork.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><span style="t

 trong></span></p>\n<p>Leon Keer\, a Dutch pop-surrealist\, is one of the w
orld&rsquo\;s leading anamorphic street artists. His large-scale\, three-d
imensional works use optical illusion\, classical techniques\, and emergin
g technology &mdash\; like augmented reality &mdash\; to surprise and deli
ght audiences. His art has appeared across Europe\, the United States\, As
ia\, Australia\, and the Middle East. During his career Keer has often pre
sented his art by live-action painting performances. His ability to perfor
m as a street painter lets him share the joy of painting with the public.
These anamorphic paintings are temporary\, but the images are shared via s
ocial media all over the world.</p>\nhttps://faylib.libnet.info/event/1435
