Have you ever started a drawing or paintin g and nail your pencil sketch but when you change mediums to a marker or p aint\, the paper fails you? Try out different types of paper and find your favorite!
\nArtist Playground provides young artists the opportunit y to test and try out different art supplies. A brief demo is provided in the first 10 minutes at the start of the program\, and the rest of the tim e is making\, experimenting\, and trying things out. At the end\, artists write up their review on the art supply to keep for their artist records a nd to share with others.
\nThis library program is a drop-in program. This means you can join us at any point between 4:00 - 5:00pm.
\nThis program is intended for families with kids ages 5-8 w ith an adult\, while kids ages 9-18 and do not need to be accompanied by t heir grown-up.
