X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Join us for a night of literary discussion
as local author and gallery owner Sarah Gormley celebrates the paperback
release of her book&nbsp\;<em>The Order of Things: A Memoir About Chasing
 Joy. </em>About the book\,&nbsp\;Kirkus Review wrote\, "A distinctive voic
e delivers an entertaining and insightful look at family and mental health
 ." Ultimately\, Gormley's book is about hope\, with a powerful message tha
t will inspire you to think about the possibility of change in your own li
fe.</p>\n<p>Sarah will share passages from the book and discuss the creati
ve process of writing her memoir\, expertly crafted with a "keen eye and q
uick wit" (Kirkus). Sarah will be joined by Regan Walsh\, motivational spe
aker and author of&nbsp\;<em>Heart Boss</em>\, for this discussion.</p>\n<
 p><strong>About the Author:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Gormley</strong
 > owns a contemporary art gallery\, Sarah Gormley Gallery (SGG)\, in Colum
bus\, Ohio that operates from the belief that original art can be a source
of joy for everyone. She opened the gallery in 2019\, 25 years after her
grandmother gifted Sarah with her first piece of art when she graduated fr
om DePauw University.&nbsp\;Sarah&rsquo\;s undergraduate degree reinforced
an early love for literature and writing\, with a heavy sprinkling of the
liberal arts fairy dust that teaches you how to think\, analyze and artic
ulate a clear point of view. <em>The Order of Things</em> is Sarah's first
  book.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Moderator:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Regan
 &nbsp\;Walsh</strong>&nbsp\;is a Columbus native and author of <em>Heart B
oss</em>\, a self-help book for women who are carrying the weight of the w
orld on their shoulders&mdash\;their careers\, their families\, their agin
g parents\, all of the things! She is a motivational speaker\, and the lea
der of an executive women&rsquo\;s networking group called The Leadership
Circle. In her spare time\, you can find her baking Sarah Gormley&rsquo\;s
Martha Stewart Fired Me Cookies &mdash\;and she encourages you to do the
 same.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>About the Book:</strong></p>\n<p>What happens
when a marketing executive leaves San Francisco to care for her dying mot
her on their family farm in Ohio? A Hallmark heroine would fall in love wi
th her high school sweetheart during a snow-storm &mdash\; but this is no
Hallmark movie. Sarah Gormley spent most of her life trying to outrun the
persistent self-loathing that plagued her from childhood\, convinced that
self-worth was something she had to earn by doing rather than being. When
she returned to Salt Creek Farm at age forty-five\, Gormley had no idea th
at detaching from the success she believed defined her\, untangling the co
mplicated relationship with her mother\, and continuing the hard work of t
herapy would lead to a wildly transformed life.</p>\n<p>Told with exceptio
nal candor and humor\, <em>The Order of Things</em> is a story about how o
ne woman learned to let go of the patterns of her past to create a future
she never imagined.</p>\n<p><strong>If you would like to receive an email
