 n Remembrance Day ceremonies that honour the courage and sacrifice of thos
 e who have served\; Robbie Burns Day\, which celebrates our Scottish tradi
 tions\; and the Buron Dinner\, which honours the Regiment&rsquo\;s pivotal
  role in the 1944 liberation of Buron\, France. She&rsquo\;ll speak to the
  important work of the Regimental Trust\, which preserves our history\, su
 pports serving members and veterans\, and fosters public understanding of 
 military service. She&rsquo\;ll explain the vital role of the Honorary Col
 onel\, who serves as a bridge between the military and civilian communitie
 s\, offering mentorship\, advocacy\, and continuity of Regimental values. 
 She will share a selection of books the Regiment has published that provid
 e powerful insight into its legacy\, missions\, and the enduring spirit of

 ne Klugman\, lifelong resident of Waterloo Region\, has been a community l
 eader in her support of a number of area organizations. She was appointed 
 by the Minister of National Defense as the Honourary Colonel for the Royal
  Highland Fusiliers of Canada. This significant recognition underscores he
 r unwavering commitment to serving and bolstering the Canadian Armed Force
 s and Canada as a whole. Noteworthy is her prior role as Honourary Lieuten
 ant Colonel\, marking her as the first woman in the Regiment's history to 
 hold these esteemed positions. Jane was recently awarded the King Charles 
 III Coronation Medal. She is a broker and Senior Vice President at Avison

 bridge Third Age Learning (CTAL) is a movement that encourages learning an
 d discovery experiences for those in the 'third age'. As part of our <a hr

 ly lectures in our Queen's Square location. With lecturers and topics care
 fully selected by our CTAL Committee\, a volunteer-led group of contempora
 ries\, the series is designed to inspire new thinking and engage inquisiti
