 <strong>Instructor: Dick Mader&nbsp\;</strong><br />Dick Mader is a SCORE 
 mentor and serves on the chapter Board of Directors. He comes by his
  knowledge of starting a business first hand.&nbsp\;<br />In 1972\, Dick a
 nd his wife Mary started a media distribution business in Southern Califor
 nia\, which is now prospering and growing under 2nd and 3rd generation fam
 ily members.&nbsp\;<br />Dick is passionate about using American entrepren
 eurial opportunities to create small business successes and personal indep
 endence. He helps clients create a clear roadmap to start a business
  and guide them through the process.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>Instructor: Bo
 b O&rsquo\;Brien&nbsp\;</strong><br />Bob was in the sales business for ov
 er 50 years. His formal education includes a BS in sales engineering
 \, and a Masters degree in finance. He started as a sales engineer f
 or a major electrical manufacturer\, then a sales manager and finally regi
 onal sales manager before starting his own Manufacturers Representative fi
 rm. This firm grew from a startup to sales of over $15\,000\,000 / y
 ear. After 25 years running the company Bob was able to sell the com
 pany to his employees.&nbsp\;<br />Bob was an active Board Member in the E
 lectronic Rep Association\, (ERA)\, where he was given a lifetime honorary
  membership. Bob has recently completed his term as chairman for the
