 >\n<p>Isha M. Renta L&oacute\;pez is a Puerto Rico&ndash\;born meteorologi
 st\, award-winning community leader\, author\, and cultural advocate. A pr
 actitioner of Bomba since 2007\, she has studied with master teachers and 
 shares this Afro-Puerto Rican tradition through her performances\, worksho
 ps\, and writing. Her debut children&rsquo\;s book\,&nbsp\;Sof&iacute\;a y
  su Tambor de Bomba (Sof&iacute\;a and Her Bomba Drum)\, set in her hometo
 wn of Ponce\, reflects her journey as a scientist\, mother\, and community
  leader dedicated to cultural pride and representation.</p>\n<p>She is als
 o the founder of Semilla Cultural\, a nonprofit organization that has prom
 oted the Afro-Puerto Rican tradition of Bomba across Washington\, D.C.\, M
 aryland\, and Virginia since 2014. Along with its talented team of volunte
 ers\, Semilla Cultural engages communities through storytelling\, workshop
 s\, lectures\, and performances that highlight the rhythms\, songs\, and d
 ances of Bomba while fostering joy\, identity\, and connection.</p>\n<p>Fo
 r this special event\, Isha and the Semilla Cultural team will lead famili
 es on an interactive journey through Puerto Rican culture\, exploring Bomb
 a through storytelling\, rhythm\, and movement.</p>\n<p><img src="https://
