In this eight-week course\, students aged 55 and older will learn the fundamentals of working with watercolors. Through working from observation\, technical demonstrations\, focused painting projects and han ds-on instruction\, you'll become familiar with the materials and techniqu es of watercolor and develop skills that will enable you to progress to th e creation of more advanced work and pursue your own creative vision.

Paints and supplies provided. An exhibit of student work is planned fo r Saturday\, December 6\, 1-2 p.m. at the Columbia Public Library.
