His writing has appe ared in the Paris Review\, McSweeney&rsquo\;s\, the New Y ork Times\, the Guardian\, and elsewhere. He runs the popular l iterary newsletter &ldquo\;Counter Craft&rdquo\; and coedited the antholog ies Tiny Crimes and Tiny Nightmares. He was born in Virginia and lives in Brooklyn.
