 : a history of wine and its long use as a medicine\, how and where grapes 
 are grown\, why dirt matters\, winemaking practices and styles\, classic a
 nd emerging regions\, the rise of artisanal producers\, natural\, biodynam
 ic\, organic\, and even orange wines!\, how to detect wine faults\, how to
  pair wine with any kind of food\, and how the pressures of climate change
  and globalization are shaping the market. Campbell shows how weather\, ge
 ography\, and geology impact the growing of grapes\, while genetics\, chem
 istry\, history\, and cultural tradition shape the wines we enjoy. Questio
 ns and interaction are encouraged!</p>\n<p>Timothy Campbell is an Adjunct 
 Faculty member at the College of DuPage where he teaches Introduction to W
 ine and Beverage Management\, as well as art\, writing\, and photography c
 lasses. He is a Certified Sherry Wine Specialist\, and he holds the Level 
 3 Award in Wines from the Wine &amp\; Spirit Education Trust while current
