 Aimee Lim</a> grew up in the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. Sh
 e has a BA in English with an emphasis on creative writing from the Univer
 sity of California\, Davis\, as well as a Master&rsquo\;s in Library and I
 nformation Science from San Jose State University. Her debut novel\, <em>T
 he Spindle of Fate</em>\, was written in collaboration with Cake Creative 
 Kitchen and published by Macmillan/Feiwel &amp\; Friends. It was named one
  of the top ten kids&rsquo\; debuts of summer/fall 2024 by the American Bo
 oksellers Association&rsquo\;s Indies Introduce List\, as well as a Good H
 ousekeeping Best Kids Book Award winner. Her second book\,&nbsp\;<em>The T
 hread of Destiny</em>\, published in 2025.&nbsp\;She also won Jeopardy!</p
 >\n<p><a href="https://catalog.lacountylibrary.org/client/en_US/default/se
 arch/results?qu=Edward+Underhill&amp\;te=&amp\;rt=false%7C%7C%7CAUTHOR%7C%
 7C%7CAuthor">Edward Underhill</a> grew up in the suburbs of Wisconsin\, wh
 ere he could not walk to anything\, so he had to make up his own adventure
 s. He studied music in college\, spent several years living in very small 
 apartments in New York\, and currently resides in California with his part
 ner and a talkative black cat. He is the author of <em>The In-Between Book
 store</em>\, as well the YA novels <em>Always the Almost</em>\, <em>This D
 ay Changes Everything</em>\, and <em>In Case You Read This</em>. His books
  have earned starred reviews\, been named Indie Next selections and Librar
 yReads Top 10 picks\, and been included on numerous &ldquo\;best of the ye
 ar&rdquo\; lists\, including from YALSA\, School Library Journal\, and Boo
