  Fires have increased 1000% over the last 5 years becoming larger\, more f
 requent and more widespread. Climate change is increasing the intensity of
  extreme weather across the globe including hail\, damaging winds\, and fl
 ash floods. When faced with this new reality\, you can feel like the scale
  of the problem is insurmountable.</p>\n<p>This event is being coordinated
  to raise awareness for the British Columbia Library Association Climate C
 ommittee's&nbsp\;<a href="https://bclaconnect.ca/climateactionweek/">Clima
 te Action Week</a> ( Nov 1 - Nov 7\, 2025).</p>\n<p><br />Learn what your 
 brain and nervous system need to build your &ldquo\;rally&rdquo\; muscle. 
 It is important to build the muscle of climate resilience before disaster 
 happens so that we can be cognitively prepared. Discover daily actionable 
 steps you can take to get unstuck and turn your climate despair into clima
 te action.</p>\n<p>Workshop topics include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual &amp
 \; collective resiliency skills</li>\n<li>Individual &amp\; community effi
 cacy</li>\n<li>Climate wayfinding</li>\n<li>Disaster planning</li>\n<li>Na
