Instead of one cake to enjoy at the librar y's 100th birthday... how about a few!? Edible book contests are a fun and creative way to celebrate reading. An edible book contest is a popular pr ogram in both public and academic libraries around the world. Participants are not limited to baking or cooking one type of food\, they are just ask ed to express themselves through a literary culinary creation. Recreate th e cover of your favorite novel on a sheet cake or make The Very Hungry Cat erpillar out of cupcakes!

What are the contest guidelines?
1. Your edible book creation is...edible! \;
2. Yo ur creation has something to do with a book.
3. You share the ingredi ents of your edible book.

Sign up to participate through this form and library staff wil l follow up with instructions!

Drop edible creations off at the li brary before 5:30 pm on Friday 9/12. An expert panel of local judges will review submissions and present prizes to winners at 7:45pm.
