If you are a beginner cook or just frustrated by recurring problems i n the kitchen this class is for you. \; We&rsquo\;ll begin with a brie f instruction of how to overcome common cooking problems like dried out fi sh and meats\, everything sticking to your pans\, burning your food\, sogg y vegetables and under-seasoned food. We&rsquo\;ll bring all these concept s together and make a coconut poached rockfish over rice with veggies to e njoy in the wine bar. Wine and beer will be available for purchase at the event.

Janice Bell is the owner of \;Arome. S he is a gourmet food enthusiast who grew up on a small family farm in the heart of the Willamette Valley. She developed her love of gardening and co oking at an early age on the farm\, but started her career and spent about 10 years as a civil engineer after attending Oregon State University. In 2016\, she pivoted and pursued her dream of bringing unique and high quali ty gourmet foods and kitchen wares to Hood River\, Oregon and opened the f irst location of Arome in early 2017. Janice loves the unique knowledge ev ery customer brings to the store and enjoys learning about each person&rsq uo\;s flavor preferences\, travels and journey in cooking.
