How the Contest Works &ndash\; Edi ble\, Family-Friendly Book-Inspired Art

Eligibility: Open to all ages. Entries must be original and family-friendly.

Drop-Off:

Friday\, October 17\, 2025\, between 3:00 PM &ndash\; 6:00 PM
Saturday\, October 18\, 2025\, until 11:00 AM.
Note: No late entries accepted.

Entry Requirements:

Artwork must be edible and inspired by a book.
\n
\n
T he "SPOOKY THEMED" book (or a color photocopy of the book cover) must acco mpany the entry.
\n
Entries may use minimal non-edible supports (e. g.\, toothpicks)\, but should otherwise be 100% edible and safe to consume .
\n
Please avoid using ingredients that spoil rapidly or require r efrigeration.
\n

Voting:

Begi ns at 12:00 PM on Saturday\, October 18\, 2025\, and ends at 2:00 PM.
\n
Winners will be chosen by audience vote. A Miami-Dade Public Library System card is required to cast a vote.

In case of a tie\, a ti e-breaker vote by library staff will be held.

Winner will be announced at 3:00 PM on S aturday\, October 18\, 2025.
