  Toronto-based educator\, consultant\, and writer. A devotee of picture bo
 oks\, her early works&nbsp\;shared stories from her&nbsp\;Chinese Canadian
  heritage and culture\, and her most recent works\,&nbsp\;<em>Anne of the 
 Library-on-the-Hill</em>&nbsp\;(2025 Toronto Book Awards Long-list)\, and&
 nbsp\;<em>Jane and the Blue Willow Princess</em>&nbsp\;were born of a desi
 re to celebrate classic&nbsp\;writers and introduce them to a new generati
