\ nAbout the author:
\nThrity Umrigar is the bestselling author of nine previous novels\, including Reese's Book Club Pick \;Honor\, four picture books and a memoir. He r books have been published in more than twenty countries and in several l anguages. A former journalist\, she has contributed to the \;Washi ngton Post\, the \;Boston Globe\, the \;New York Times\, the \;Cleveland Plain Dealer\, \;and other newspapers. She is a recipient of the Harvard's Nieman Fellowship and winn er of the Cleveland Arts Prize\, the Seth Rosenberg prize\, and a Lambda L iterary award. \;She is currently a Distinguished University Professo r of English at Case Western Reserve University.
