 strong></h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Checking IDs</li>\n<li>Counting drinks</li>\n<li>E
 ffective communication with intoxicated guests&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Becoming f
 amiliar with local regulations</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The ServSafe&reg\;&nbsp\;pr
 ogram is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of
  foodservice industry experts. This program is offered through a partnersh
 ip with the City of Fayetteville&rsquo\;s Department of Economic Vitality 
 using appropriate ARPA funds.</p>\n<hr />\n<p>The State of Arkansas offers
  mitigating benefits to establishments who voluntarily participate in the 
 state's "<a href="https://www.abcservertraining.com/education/alcohol-serv
 er-training/arkansas-responsible-permittee-program/" target="_blank" rel="
 noopener" title="Responsible Permittee Program">Responsible Permittee Prog
 ram</a>\," under which the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division will consid
 er certification in mitigation of fines and violations.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>To 
 qualify as a responsible permittee\, the operator must:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Att
 end a responsible alcohol service training course approved by the division
  (this course applies)</li>\n<li>Require every employee who sells or serve
 s alcohol to complete a responsible alcohol service training course within
  30 days from their date of hire</li>\n<li>Maintain all records of employe
