\nABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:
\nRegie Cabico is the fi rst Asian American Slam Poet to win the Nuyorican Poet Cafe's Grand Slam a nd has appeared on two seasons of The Poet Speaks\, HBO's Def Poetry Jam\, and TEDx Talk. \; He is a lead teaching artist for The John F. Kenned y Center for the Performing Arts. His latest poetry collection is A Rabbit In Search of a Rolex\, published by Day Eight.
\nDwayne Law son-Brown\, aka the Crochet Kingpin\, is an author\, arts adminis trator for the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities\, and a Helen Haye s-nominated playwright\, competitive karaoke champion\, host of Thursday n ight karaoke at Voodoo Bar DC\, and CEO of Crochet Kingpin Designs.
