Discussion topic this month: Authors who w rite in more than one genre will testify how each one feeds the other. For instance\, a dramatist who&rsquo\;s also a novelist will improve her dial ogue and perhaps learn to write better plots\; the poet teaches the nonfic tion writer the importance of word choice and rhythm and in return picks u p on what might be material for poetic fodder. Understanding you don&rsquo \;t need to submit your work for critique\, allow yourself to experiment w ith a different form\, voice\, length\, genre\, whatever\, than you&rsquo\ ;re comfortable with.
\nThe Night Writers Workshop discusses various topics within writing and provides a welcoming environment for peer feedb ack.
