\nThis class is designed for write rs of all genres who want to learn to edit their writing on a sentence lev el. We&rsquo\;ll start by discussing how to approach your work from the vi ewpoint of an editor\, rather than a writer\, then move into basic tenets and ways to examine sentences individually\, as well as the work they're d oing in a paragraph. Students are invited to submit \;an excerpt \ ;in advance and will have an opportunity to put these teachings into pract ice when we edit as a group.
\nPresenter Bio: \;
\nGrace Bialecki \;is a performance poet\, novelist\, and workshop fa cilitator who teaches for The Bridge and Hugo House. Her work has appeared in various publications\, including \;Catapult< /em>\, \;Barrelhouse\, and \;Epiphany Magazine&n bsp\;where she was a monthly columnist. She has performed her poetry at th e KGB Bar\, Salmagundi Club\, and been a featured poet at Paris Lit Up. Gr ace is the co-founder of the storytelling series \;Thirst\, a nd the author of the novel \;Purple Gold.
