 author Tory Christie for an engaging event exploring their creative proces
 ses\, their writing journeys and the importance of diverse voices in liter
 ature.</p>\n<p>Through an interactive presentation and Q&amp\;A session\, 
 the authors will share how different perspectives shape the connections be
 tween readers and characters. Selina Li Bi will discuss her debut young ad
 ult novel\, "Sunlight Playing over a Mountain\," a mythology-infused comin
 g-of-age story\, and Tory Christie will follow with insights from her thir
 teenth children&rsquo\;s book\, "A Touch of Blue\," from her perspective a
 s an Earth scientist.</p>\n<p>This program is open to the public and is ge
 ared for teens and young adults\, as well as anyone interested in writing 
 for these age groups.<br /><br />Paper and writing utensils will be provid
 ed\, but participants are welcome to bring their own.</p>\n<p>This program
