 ingh was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 1999. 
 An architect in the past\, she now writes heartwarming stories set against
  a South Asian backdrop. Singh's picture books include&nbsp\;Birds of a Fe
 ather\, a Dolly Parton Imagination Library selection\, and&nbsp\;Mango Mem
 ories. Her latest titles are Let's Celebrate Diwali and&nbsp\;Indigo Hands
 &nbsp\;(coming in 2026). Singh's stories are inspired by her experiences o
 f living in the East and the West\, and she loves sharing them with childr
 en and adults. When not reading or writing\, Singh spends her time cooking
  elaborate meals\, walking her very curious dog\, and movie marathoning wi
