From Lake Erie to canals and to rivers\, O hio&rsquo\;s maritime history is rich and ancient. This presentation will highlight the stories of several shipwrecks\; their &lsquo\;lives&rsquo\;\ , &lsquo\;deaths&rsquo\;\, and discoveries. How many shipwrecks are in Ohi o? Come and find out!
\nLinda Pansing received her degrees from The Ohio State University and did her underwater field work with Florida State University. Linda is also a scuba instructor and has been actively diving since 1988. She has conducted field research and/or has been project mana ger for surveys of terrestrial and underwater sites that date back to the Late Pleistocene to the 20th century. She is a member of numerous Ohio scu ba clubs and is a cofounder of the Maritime Archaeological Survey Team (MA ST)\, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the documentation\, scientific stud y\, and education pertaining to underwater archaeological resources.
