Tips include landscape enhancements\, practices and plant selection\, with an emphasis on native plants. Chicagoland&rsquo\;s location along the migratory route \, bird species diversity\, habitat\, diet/foraging\, nesting\, supplement al support\, and community science will also be discussed. \nPam Karlson is a career artist and alumni o f the American Academy of Art in Chicago\, as well as a certified professi onal gardener and garden designer through the School of the Chicago Botani c Garden. As a public speaker and educator\, she advocates for wildlife ha bitat creation\, restoration and preservation. In addition to her professi onal work\, Pam has been rescuing migratory birds since 2004 as a voluntee r with licensed wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organizations. She is a lso an active habitat restoration volunteer in Chicagoland&rsquo\;s forest preserves.
