In conjunction with the exhibition D.I.Y. in the Distri ct: Celebrating D.C.'s Artist-Run Spaces\, join us for a day of artist-driven programming at the MLK Library curated by artist Map s Glover.

On the first floor of the MLK Library\, from 12am -5pm\, join us for performances and affordable art for sale in the Great H all celebrating the artist-centered nonprofit Transformer DC\, including a discussion at 2pm and a durational performance by Maps Glover and Sifu Su n ongoing from 2-5 p.m. The People&rsquo\;s Archive will host an open hous e for the zine collection.
On the fourth and fifth f loors\, from 11am-4pm\, explore DC Zinefest\, one-day independent event featuring dozens of vendors\, designed to provide a space for zine-makers\, self-published artists\, and writers to share their work with each other and the Washingt on\, D.C.\, community. \;
