Making Slime: In this demonstration\, we w ill make slime from common household items. Glue is a key component of the slime as it is a polymer\, which means that it is a long chain-like molec ule\, similar to how paperclips can string together. \;

Making Oobleck: Oobleck is considered a non-Newtonian fluid\, which means that i t acts like a liquid when it is poured\, but it also can act like a solid when a force is acting upon \;it. \;

Liquid Nitrogen Flowe rs: For this experiment\, flowers are submerged into the liquid nitrogen\, which causes the water inside of the cells of the flowers to freeze rapid ly. This rapid freezing causes the water to expand and form ice crystals\, which makes the flowers extremely brittle and easy to shatter when you to uch them! \;

Smoke Bubbles: In this demonstration\, we make bu bbles that are filled with smoke\, and students are able to hold the bubbl es in their hands. The &ldquo\;smoke&rdquo\; is made from dry ice\, which is solid carbon dioxide. \;
