\n< p>\n\nDonté\; Clark\, also known as DONBLAK\, is a poe t\, actor\, and filmmaker \;from Richmond\, California. His work explo res the vulnerability of Black masculinity in the face of systemic racism\ , white supremacy\, and hyper-violence amongst black youth. A co-founder o f RAW Talent (Richmond Artists with Talent)\, Donté\;&rsquo\;s artis tic achievements include the co-written play \;Té\;&rsquo\;s Har mony\, being featured in the movie \;Kicks\, and co-starring in two se asons of \;The North Pole show\, a political comedy about gentrificati on in Oakland\, California. Following the release of his poetry collection s\, \;KNOWFREEDOM\, \;Close Caskets\, and \;Psalms\, Dont&eacu te\; secured a poetic residency at John A. Davis Juvenile Hall in Martinez \, CA through his work with the CCC Contra Costa Art agency. As a 2023-24 Yerba Buena Center for the Arts grant recipient\, Donté\; created&nb sp\;We Cry Freedom\, a poetry collection\, and the poetic short film \ ;Blú\; Honey.
