Our Book Mates are teens in grades 9-12 wh o read to our skippers in grades 1-4! Book Mates is a volunteer opportunit y for teens and a chance for new readers to gain confidence in reading wit h trusted young adults.

Book Mates sessions will take place on Tue sdays from 3:30-4:00 in the Children's Room. Skippers and Mates will meet up and find a quiet place to read together for a half hour. If you apply a nd are matched\, you must attend all 5 weeks of sessions (February 3\, Feb ruary 10\, February 24\, March 3\, and March 10). \;
