Death Cafe is an international nonprofit m ovement that began in the UK\, with the mission &ldquo\;to increase awaren ess of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives.&rdquo\; These conversations remove the stigma surrounding the topic of death and dying. This event will be led by \;Diane Callahan\, a local author and curator of an upcoming art exhibition on death and dying at Urban Arts Sp ace. Join us for an open\, thoughtful conversation about death in a welcom ing and judgment-free space. Death Café\; is a facilitated discussio n where people&mdash\;regardless of background or belief&mdash\;can come t ogether to share perspectives\, ask questions\, and reflect on the meaning and reality of death. This is not a grief support group or counseling ses sion\, but rather an opportunity to explore a topic that touches all lives . Light refreshments will be provided. \;
