You've heard of Silent Reading Parties\, b ut public libraries are happening places where questions\, dialogue\, and children playing are encouraged\, so we're having a "quiet" reading party instead! \;
\nLibrary Lovers Day happens every year on February 14th (Valentine's Day for bibliophiles). As illiteracy is on the rise and readership on the decline\, we're hoping to fill the library with people a ctively engaging with a good read. Come alone or with a companion\, bring a book from home or check one out at the library\, and then settle in\, si lence your phone\, get quiet\, and read. Electronic books and audiobooks ( with earphones) are also welcome!
\nBooks\, literacy\, and libraries help keep our communities healthy\, so let's celebrate them together!
