 s participated in numerous search and rescue incidents.</p>\n<p><strong>Th
 e Central Oregon Nordic Club</strong> (CONC)&nbsp\;enhances cross-country 
 skiing and snowshoeing in Central Oregon by:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizing&nbs
 p\;outings&nbsp\;for ski touring\, snowshoeing &amp\; hiking</li>\n<li>Mai
 ntaining over 100 miles of cross-country &amp\; snowshoe trails</li>\n<li>
 Maintaining 5 warming shelters &amp\; stocking them with firewood</li>\n<l
 i>Organizing&nbsp\;social events</li>\n<li>Advocating for the protection&n
 bsp\;of the backcountry experience</li>\n<li>Teaching&nbsp\;Nordic skiing
