  of dedicated snowshoe trails at nearby sno-parks. They will speak about e
 quipment and clothing considerations\, sources of information to help you 
 identify which sno-park to visit\, and what to expect upon arriving at the
  sno-park and while on the trail. They will also provide an update on trai
 l conditions at Edison Sno-Park\, which is being re-opened this year after
  being impacted by the Little Lava fire.</p>\n<p>Bob Timmer volunteers wit
 h CONC in the stewardship of the snowshoe trails and Kelly Cleman voluntee
 rs with CONC in leading snowshoe trips.</p>\n<p><strong>The Central Oregon
  Nordic Club (CONC)</strong> enhances cross-country skiing and snowshoeing
  in Central Oregon by:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizing&nbsp\;outings&nbsp\;for s
 ki touring\, snowshoeing &amp\; hiking</li>\n<li>Maintaining over 100 mile
 s of cross-country &amp\; snowshoe trails</li>\n<li>Maintaining 5 warming 
 shelters &amp\; stocking them with firewood</li>\n<li>Organizing&nbsp\;soc
 ial events</li>\n<li>Advocating for the protection&nbsp\;of the backcountr
 y experience</li>\n<li>Teaching&nbsp\;Nordic skiing skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p
