 aker\, Nola D. Oracle.</p>\n<p>Nola D. Oracle is an award-winning filmmake
 r\, author\, and retired U.S. Army veteran from Jacksonville and Lake City
 \, Florida. After her military service\, she studied theater and scriptwri
 ting at LaGuardia College and Africana studies at Brooklyn College before 
 earning a business management degree from Rasmussen University.</p>\n<p>Bl
 ending her creative vision with business acumen\, Nola D. founded Diaspora
  Whispers Studios\, where she serves as CEO. She co-directed and co-produc
 ed New Panther: A Call for Action and leads the acclaimed African Diaspora
 ns Hidden Kulture (ADHK) film series. ADHK has won major awards&mdash\;inc
 luding Best Documentary at The African Film Festival (Dallas) and Inside N
 ollywood (Abuja)&mdash\;and has been featured at the Cannes Film Market an
 d on Amazon Prime Video\, Tubi\, and Vimeo.</p>\n<p>Nola D. is also the fo
 under and CEO of Diaspora Whispers Books\, a publishing company focused on
  culturally enriching stories. She is the author of Amara&rsquo\;s Adventu
 res: A Trip to Jacksonville\, Florida&rsquo\;s African American Museums\, 
 a children&rsquo\;s book that follows an 11 year old girl exploring Black 
 history and heritage. The story fosters curiosity and cultural pride among
  young readers.</p>\n<p>Through film\, literature\, and entrepreneurship\,
  Nola D. Oracle uplifts African and African Diasporan narratives\, making 
 a lasting global impact.</p>\n<p><strong>This program is made possible by 
 a grant from the Mellon Foundation.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>About the fil
 m:</strong>&nbsp\;A journey through Jacksonville to explore the city's ext
 raordinary hidden African American culture and heritage including LaVilla\
 , Durkeeville\, Kingsley Plantation and American Beach.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>R
