  26\, student artists will take a close look at the art of<br />Cara Romer
 o. Romero is an American photographer known for her digital photography th
 at<br />examines Indigenous life through a contemporary lens. She lives in
  both Santa Fe\, New<br />Mexico and the Mojave Desert. She is an enrolled
  citizen of the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe. She<br />creates powerful and tho
 ught provoking photographic portraits of Native American people.<br />Stud
 ents will be given the option of either working on portraits inspired by h
 er photos or<br />photos that reflect their own ancestry. Skills in doing 
 portraits will be demonstrated and<br />practiced.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;All are 
 welcome!</p>\n<p>This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom
  and YouTube.</p>\n<p>Registration is required whether you are attending i
 n person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You 
 will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins
