Monroe County Public Library (MCPL) Board of Trustees meetings are typically held on the Third Wednesday of every mo nth at 5:45 p.m. in Meeting Room 1B/C\, first floor\, Downtown Library. Ju ne meetings are held at the Ellettsville Branch in Room A/B and September meetings are held at the Southwest Branch in Room A/B. You may join board meetings virtually via zoom.mcpl.info .
\nThe board is the policy-making body of the Library and determine s such matters as hours open\, holidays\, vacations\, salaries\, and also works with the Library Director in preparing the MCPL budget. The board hi res and advises the Library Director in the operation of the Library. The board meets monthly\; meetings are open to the public. Meeting agenda with time and location are posted in various locations in the Library 48 hours in advance. Meetings are cablecast live on the government channel of \;Community Access Televisio n Services (CATS).
