 ternoon of creative exploration! We&rsquo\;ll be creating 8-bit style game
 s with the PICO-8 platform\, a fantasy console for making\, playing\, and 
 sharing tiny video games.</p>\n<p>We&rsquo\;ll look at parts of classic 8-
 bit games to explore how mechanics\, rules\, challenge\, and player experi
 ence come together to shape fun and emotion\, and use those insights to in
 spire your own creations. Then\, design and tweak your own mini-game using
  PICO-8&rsquo\;s tools for sprite editing\, sound design\, and code modifi
 cation\, and share it with others in a fun and supportive environment.</p>
 \n<p>No programming experience necessary &mdash\; templates and guidance w
 ill be provided. Artists\, musicians\, hackers\, gamers\, storytellers\, s
 tudents\, educators\, and curious beginners &mdash\; all are welcome!</p>\
