 search strategy. It also demonstrates how multiple pathways can be followe
 d to answer an origins question. It shows that by looking at the side door
 s of orphaned cousins and second spouses one might discover the parish of 
 origin.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Kevin Cassidy is an avid researcher and lecturer on
  genealogy topics. He has spoken across the U.S.\, Ireland\, and Canada. C
 assidy has traced his family tree back to the townlands of origin for all
