Welcoming experienced and new players alik e\, we will play Dungeons &\; Dragons 5e at our Cold Spring Branch! If you do not know how to make a character\, never fear\, we will have pre-ge nerated characters for you to use. If you would like to make your own char acter\, we will be making characters and leveling up from 6 pm to around 7 pm. \nAccording to Wizards of the Coast\, the first Dungeo ns &\; Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson ch ose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy r oleplaying game\, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy st ory. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years\, a nd D&\;D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience world s of heroic fantasy.
\nThe core of D&\;D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together\, guiding your heroes through quests f or treasure\, battles with deadly foes\, daring rescues\, courtly intrigue and much more. You can also explore the world of Dungeons &\; Dragons through any of the novels written by its fantasy authors\, as well as enga ging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are a par t of D&\;D.
