Get out\, get active\, and enjoy all the b enefits of walking! \;If winter walking makes you nervous\, be sure to come to this session with physiotherapist Emma Tawil. Hear strategies for walking safely outdoors in the winter months and get helpful resources fo r indoor and outdoor walking groups available in our community. After the talk\, spend the rest of the hour enjoying a refreshing group walk to refl ect and recharge!
\nPlease arrive 10 minutes before the walk. Meet u s in Centennial Hall in the library. We will then move to the outdoor spac e at the Central Park Rose Garden\, just opposite the south entrance\, fac ing New Street.
\nWalking is a wonderful form of physical activity\, and we encourage all levels of walking ability to participate in this eve nt&mdash\;whether you complete the entire walk or join us for part of the journey! Walking devices\, mobility aids\, and walking companions are welc ome. All participants must sign a waiver provided at the start of the walk .
