This fiction writing workshop will meet on ce a month for six months (March-August) to explore the elements of craft. Each month\, we will have a short tutorial on one aspect of fiction writi ng\, including character\, wants\, plot\, dialogue\, and resolution\, foll owed by discussing two to four participant submissions of existing short s tories\, opening novel chapters\, or new work inspired by the workshop.
\nSubmissions will be compiled into one document and emailed to partic ipants.
\nWriters will be invited to help guide the agenda for feedb
ack about their own work. Participants should commit to:

It's important to the wo rkshop process that we create a community of writers who know and trust ea ch other\, so please commit to attending at least five of the six classes. Space is limited and registration is required.

Her short st ory\, &ldquo\;Monster Jones Wants to Creep You Out&rdquo\; (Conclave\, 201 0) was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is also one of the co-founders and former president of Literary Cleveland (litcleveland.org).
