 opovich is a 2012 Vancouver Film School graduate in Film Production with o
 ver 14 years of experience in producing\, screenwriting\, directing\, cine
 matography\, and motion picture editing. A Director&rsquo\;s Guild of Cana
 da member who has edited 5 feature films\, coloured 7 feature films and di
 rected over 10 short films and 30 music videos. He directed his first feat
 ure length film\, Haunted Nightmare House premiered for free on YouTube\, 
 Halloween 2025\, and is currently producing his second\, third\, and fourt
 h feature films this 2026 year.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li><strong>March 23</strong>
 : Using Beat Sheets to Plan or Revise Your Writing - Whether you outline y
 our story in detail before you start or you're a "pantser" who goes with w
 hatever the creative flow brings\, you can use beat sheets to both plan an
 d revise. These worksheets allow you to lay out plot\, character arcs\, tu
 rning points\, inciting incident\, and so on to the wrap-up. Great for pla
 nners and wonderful for organizing that messy first draft for "pantsers." 
 Find out how beat sheets can streamline your story\, whatever stage you're
  at.</li>\n<li><strong>April 27</strong>: Consignment and Book Selling Tip
 s with Bruce Hanson - Bruce A. Hanson is the recipient of 9 writing awards
  for fiction and 1 award for non-fiction. His YA novella\, Double Cross\,&
 nbsp\;was named a Finalist in the Whistler Independent Book Awards 2024. H
 is books\, Murder and Other Love Stories\, Double Cross\, and Elephants in
  my Stew&nbsp\;(under the pen name Robert Rime)\, provide reading experien
 ces for almost all ages. His short fiction collection\, Murder and Other L
 ove Stories\, includes 5 of his award winning short stories.Bruce has succ
 essfully represented his works in multiple signing appearances and belongs
  to a number of authors&rsquo\; organizations. He offers valuable advice o
 n consigning books in stores\, both chain and independent\, along with tip
 s on in-person selling. Writers at any stage of the creative journey will 
 benefit from Bruce&rsquo\;s extensive experience</li>\n<li><strong>May 25<
 /strong>:&nbsp\;Author Michael Walton\, will be speaking at the Barrie Wri
 ters Club about aspects of his life\, his writing and his books. As a poli
 ce officer\, Michael\, has been part of multiple investigative teams chasi
 ng criminals involved in murder\, gun trafficking\, drug trafficking\, and
  multi-million-dollar fraud.&nbsp\;Michael&rsquo\;s fictional\, 3-book APO
 K Series centres on Miguel Mejia\, aka APOK\, a former military special op
 erative turned police officer. The first book opens with APOK sitting behi
