 eper connection with nature\, increase curiosity\, and develop observation
 al skills. It is also a meditative practice that allows the "journaler" to
  be more mindful\, which helps to reduce anxiety and stress.&nbsp\; And be
 st of all\, you do not have to be an artist\, poet\, or scientist to enjoy
  this practice.&nbsp\; During this workshop\, you will:</p>\n<p>- Learn th
 e Nature Journaling basics<br />- See journal entry examples<br />- Become
  familiar with some famous nature journalists<br />- Explore various promp
 ts to get you started<br />- Learn how you can become a &ldquo\;citizen sc
 ientist&rdquo\; through nature journaling.<br />- Try your hand at nature 
 journaling</p>\n<p>Some materials will be provided\, but feel free to brin
 g your own art supplies (a notebook or journal\, pens\, colored pencils\, 
 and watercolors). We will do an exercise outside (weather permitting).</p>
 \n<p>Register to save your seat. Registration must be completed two hours 
 prior to the start time.&nbsp\;A library card and PIN are required for reg
 istration. If you do not have a card\, click&nbsp\;<strong><a href="https:

 to obtain one.</p>\n<p>All registered seats will be forfeited at 5 minutes
  before the program start time and made available to waitlisted and walk-i
 n attendees. Registered attendees arriving after this time will be seated 
 if seats are available.</p>\n<p>Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilitie
