\nEstablished in 1995\, Joe&rsquo\;s Movement Emporium is a cultu ral arts hub that acts as a catalyst for creativity and economic opportuni ty. Based in Mount Rainier\, Maryland in the Prince George&rsquo\;s Gatewa y Arts District\, Joe&rsquo\;s serves more than 70\,000 visitors annually. Joe&rsquo\;s has five arts-based youth programs that bridge the creative divide between under-resourced families and those with means. Through prog rams and productions in education\, performing arts\, and work readiness\, Joe&rsquo\;s integrates progressive education\, creativity\, and youth de velopment.

Brooke Kidd\, Executiv e Director and Co-Founder of Joe&rsquo\;s Movement Emporium\, is a dance a rtist\, choreographer\, and arts education advocate. She received her B.A. in International Relations and Dance\, Anthropology\, and African Studies \, and an M.A. in Dance with the thesis &ldquo\;Revitalizing Community thr ough Dance&rdquo\; from American University. For more than 30 years\, Ms. Kidd has designed arts programs to engage community\, produced large-scale performances\, and presented work throughout the region.

e received the Alan Kriegsman Award from Dance Metro DC for lifetime achie
vement and an Individual Artist Award in choreography from the Maryland St
ate Arts Council. Brooke served on the Mount Rainier City Council (2001-20
03)\, has been honored as the Maryland State Arts Advocate of the Year (20
15)\, Prince George&rsquo\;s County Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of
the Year (2015)\, and Gratitude Award (2018). Brooke is a member of Leade
rship Greater Washington class of 2017. Brooke has launched and directed a
number of projects with broad community stakeholders from Maryland\, such
as Joe&rsquo\;s project &ldquo\;Mapping Racism\,&rdquo\; in partnership w
ith the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation\, which documented t
he historical and present-day impact of restrictive deed covenants in Bren
twood and North Brentwood.
Camille Kashaka (she/her/hers) currently serves a
s the Managing Director for Joe&rsquo\;s Movement Emporium and Creative Su
itland. She is excited to be contributing to the broad and powerful commun
ity focused cultural and artistic impact of these institutions. \;

She is the former Executive Director of Motor House in Balt
imore\, MD\, Interim Managing Director of Hattiloo Theatre in Memphis\, TN
\, and Director of the Anacostia Arts Center in Washington\, DC. \;

Camille received her BFA from Howard University in Theatre
Administration and her Masters from American University in Arts Managemen
t. It is with this specific blend of cultural\, artistic\, and professiona
l experience that she hopes to add to the eclectic cultural ecosystem of P
rince George&rsquo\;s County.
